Blended Learning

Presented as a series of three self-guided modules to provide knowledge, experiences, and expectations required to teach in the blended modality. Faculty must successfully complete 100% of the course activities, meet with their Mentor and Academic Dean, and receive approval of the Director, Online and Blended Faculty Development before they are cleared to teach in the blended modality.

Required Modules

There are three required modules and an expectations module as part of this self-guided course. Important to your success are traits associated with motivated, online learners. While the modules are sequenced, learners may complete the learning activities (assignments) asynchronously. Access each of the modules via the menu bar above.

Please note, the assignments are due at the end of each module - module = 1-week Monday through Sunday.

Each learner will be issued a Blackboard Course and Sandbox. Several activities and assignment take place in the sandbox with all assignments submitted through the course.
